Confessions of a Pastor.

This may come as a shock to some, but pastors (at least this one) have issues they have to work through. The mass quantities of quizzical quips that pass through my gray matter on a daily basis leaves me questioning and examining my motives, mission, and message.

I wrestle through texts of scripture that challenge me long before they reach the ears of my congregation. Impartation follows on the coat tails of introspection. This inward investigation causes me to be open, honest, and transparent with Jesus.

I am going to relay to you some of the things that Jesus has revealed in me. This post will serve as a growing Table of Contents for my Confessions of a Pastor series. I hope the candid conversation in confessional form is more enlightening than enigmatic.

As always, please feel free to join the conversation through the comments section.

1. I had to forgive God.

2. I am a closet Athenian.

 3. I love Genesis.

4. I preach from Genesis too much.
