This is Part 20 of the A Luke 10 Moment series.
Noah was called to come into the ark he had built, and the call came from God. God was in the ark. A year later, there came a call from outside the ark; this time, God was asking Noah to leave the ark. Noah found himself in a place where God had been, but not a place where God was now.
Jesus called His disciples to go to places, where He was going – too. The challenge was to discern where God had been, and position themselves where He was going. That is the same challenge that we face today.
God is a God of movement. The church can easily become a monument. We need to realize that where God has been in the past, isn’t necessarily where He is going to be tomorrow. Even how God worked in the past may change today. The strategy that we used to reach our cities last year may no longer be current with how God is moving today.
To experience the Luke 10 moment, we must be ready to move where God is moving. Adjustments must be made. Paradigms shifted. And our vision elevated.
