This is Part 10 from the Saturday Sermons series:
LOOK FROM THE PLACE WHERE YOU ARE.
Text: Genesis 13:14 – and the Lord said unto Abram after that Lot was separated from him, lift up now thine eyes, and look from the place where thou art northward, and southward, and eastward, and westward: Genesis 13:18 – then Abram removed his tent, and came and dwelt in the plain of Mamre which is in Hebron, and built there an altar unto the Lord.
A. ABRAM HAS LEFT THE KNOWN FOR THE UNKNOWN.
B. OUT OF EGYPT WITH THE FEELINGS OF FAILURE. GOD ISN’T TALKING TO HIM.
C. LOST RELATIONSHIP WITH LOT.
D. LOOK FROM WHERE YOU ARE.
- Where you are doesn’t matter.
- Look every direction.
- Somewhere there is going to be a way out.
- Walk as far as you can see – then look again.
- Your present position isn’t your final destination.
