This is Part 13 of the A Luke 10 Moment series.

Luke 10:1-13

I wonder if we overcomplicate the process of reaching those that are far from God? Jesus simply told the disciples to make contact, proclaim peace, and then wait for a response.

First of all, it would be good for us to remember that we too are ministering peace to a distressed world. Our message is the good news this world needs, and is the answer they are looking for. Be proud of it and present it. Each disciple had the authority and power to speak peace: and peace was automatically released.

Secondly, Jesus said that if they reject this peace, like a boomerang, it will come back to you again. In other words, you have nothing to lose.

So what holds us back? Why aren’t we more audacious ambassadors for Jesus?

You literally have nothing to lose.
